Aren’t they cute!! I finished stitching them in September and my two children already want me to hang them up for Christmas!

From the moment I saw these two “Holiday Bears” on Sass and Stitch Embroidery’s Instagram page I KNEW I had to stitch them! I was also awfully keen to share them with others and assist them with stitching the bears too… FOR CHRISTMAS!

Alyssa Sass from Sass and Stitch is based in Arizona, USA and has a series of “Little Bear” patterns, which are all very sweet, each of them doing various things. To purchase any of her patterns yourself, check out her Etsy shop! Her patterns give you very thorough instructions and would make a very nice stitched gift for a loved one.

I hope she doesn’t mind that I’ve been calling them “Christmas Bears” as we don’t tend to refer to Christmas as “the holidays” in Australia and that relates more to our school holidays.

I contacted the lovely Justine @ Peppermint Green (in Joondalup, WA) about running a workshop in her Café.

Soooo I am pleased to announce that I am running a Christmas Bears Stitching Workshop on Saturday 30th November from 12:00 – 3:00. For the small price of $45.00 you can choose between Christmas Lights Bear or Santa Hat Bear. In the workshop price, you will receive adult instruction, all workshop materials to stitch your bear and light refreshments.

This workshop is open to both adults and children (aged 6+) because I thought it would be nice for parents to come along and share this relaxation time. And if they don’t, then there is certainly the option to ‘drop and go’ and use the time across the road at Joondalup shops.

Look forward to seeing some of you there…
