INTRO TO WEAVING

Discover the calming and creative process of weaving in this hands-on workshop, designed for those curious to try something new, or anyone looking to slow down and reconnect with creativity through tactile making. Using a simple frame loom, participants will learn foundational techniques such as warping the loom, plain weave, loops, rya knots, and soumak.

This workshop offers a gentle and supportive space to explore colour, texture and pattern at your own pace, without the pressure for perfection. Using a variety of yarns and fibres, you’ll create a wall hanging that reflects your own sense of style.
