Discover slow stitching to disconnect from the rush (or busyness) of every day life and enjoy taking your time to create, without pressure.
In this workshop, participants are invited to explore simple hand stitching techniques, using leftover fabric scraps and embellishments to piece together their own unique textile pieces. Our focus is not on producing a βperfectβ end product, but on mindful making to support a calm state of flow.
Duration: 2- 3 hours (plus additional 1 hour preparation time and allowance of 30 minutes prior and post workshop for set up and pack down).
Group Size: Up to 15 participants (an assistant can be arranged for larger groups).
Audience: Suitable for adults or a modified version of this workshop can be delivered for children or youth β just ask.

Materials: I provide a range of tools and fabrics for use during the session.
Some organisations choose to provide their own take-home mending kits (needles, threads etc.) to encourage participants to continue their mending journey. I can provide these for an additional charge (as per example quote).
Others suggest that participants bring what they have in their existing sewing kits.
